THE GLOBAL FASHION POWER LIST 2026

20 major fashion brands: revenues, ownership, origins, strengths, weaknesses, positioning, creative leadership and outlook

ENGLISH VERSION

The global fashion industry in 2026 is increasingly divided into three worlds.

At the top are the ultra-luxury maisons, where brand heritage, leather goods, scarcity and pricing power dominate.

In the middle are accessible-luxury brands such as Ralph Lauren and Coach, which are currently benefiting from consumers looking for quality without paying the extreme prices of the largest French luxury houses.

At the mass-market end, Zara and Uniqlo continue to demonstrate that speed, logistics, product quality and global distribution can be more powerful than traditional fashion prestige.

The most important change in 2026 is that growth is no longer concentrated exclusively in European luxury. American accessible luxury, Japanese retail and selected sportswear brands are gaining momentum, while several European luxury houses are being forced to reconsider pricing and product strategy.
