FINTECH SCB — ANALYSIS IS FREE. PROFESSIONAL EXPERTISE IS OUR BUSINESS.
We believe economic and geopolitical knowledge should circulate freely. But when information has to become a decision, a structure or an international financial solution, professional expertise begins
There is already more than enough economic noise in the world.
More forecasts. More newsletters. More “exclusive insights”. More subscriptions. More people explaining yesterday’s markets tomorrow morning — preferably behind a paywall.
At Fintech SCB, we have chosen a somewhat different approach.
The economic, financial and geopolitical analysis I publish on Substack and across my professional channels is intended to remain freely accessible.
No subscription should be necessary to understand an interest-rate decision, a sovereign-debt problem, a currency crisis, the consequences of international sanctions or the economic implications of a geopolitical event.
Knowledge has value precisely when it circulates.
But there is an important distinction.
Information is one thing. Professional advisory is another.
And while we believe in sharing knowledge, Fintech SCB is also a professional international financial advisory business.
FROM INFORMATION TO ACTION
Reading an analysis can help someone understand a problem.
Professional advisory begins when that problem becomes your problem.
A company entering a new country does not simply need an article about that economy.
An entrepreneur facing an international banking issue does not need another explanation of how banks theoretically operate.
A family with assets, companies or banking relationships across several jurisdictions does not need another generic article about wealth management.
And someone dealing with Source of Funds, Source of Wealth, international liquidity, residence, sanctions, corporate structures or cross-border banking usually needs something considerably more specific than information found on the internet.
They need the situation to be understood.
They need alternatives to be evaluated.
They need risks to be identified.
